1. what and why

↳ TL;DR: I grew up blogging and loved it. Then social media took over and blogging felt obsolete. But I’m coming back to it on a calmer platform, with a clearer mind. This space will be for reflection, not noise. Writing helps me think better.

I grew up during the golden age of blogs. I had one of my own, and I wrote on it often. It felt natural back then: writing, sharing, reflecting.

Then the internet changed. I changed. Everything changed. Blogging faded into the background.

Social media took over. It was faster, louder, easier. But it came at a cost. Blogs required thought. Reflection. Time. Social media pushed for speed and quantity instead. The result: a flood of content, much of it irrelevant or hollow.

Now, I’m back at it. Writing again. On a platform designed for focus. No ads, no clutter, no noise.

At the same time, I’m stepping away from most social platforms. The only one I still use (and read) is Threads. Even there, I try to keep the feed as intentional and quiet as possible.

This blog is my space for reflection. For peace of mind. For deeper thought.

Because writing doesn’t just express what I think, it helps me think better.
